A LITTLE BIRDIE TOLD ME

Morning and what a change in the weather today, my day off and its raining typical. Anyway our challenge this week at CRAFT CHALLENGE 374 IS SUMMER, My card is made using an image from Robyn's Fetish, the image I used is A little birdie told me.

Such a pretty image, coloured with pro markers. The backing papers and sentiment is from an old cd, Garden Delights. Corner dies are from Crafters Companion, the oval die is from Spellbinders and I embossed it using a lattice embossing folder.

Love To Craft Challenge Blog

Hello I am pleased to say I have just become a design team member for a new challenge blog. Can't say how happy I am be a part of this team, to be a member of a design team from the very beginning. To share the passion that all us crafters have, as our moto in this group is to "Inspire and be inspired"

Hi everyone! The Love To Scrap Challenge Blog has a new sister blog that will make her debut on August 1st! Please join me in welcoming the Love To Craft Challenge Blog to blogland! Woo-hoo! I know most crafters are always on the look-out for new challenges to enter and I wanted to create one with an atmosphere where we can all inspire and be inspired... one that gives everyone an opportunity to show off what you're working on, no matter what it is!

As our marquee says, we welcome any and all kinds of handmade creations - from cards, tags, ATCs and scrapbook layouts  - to 3-D projects, mixed media canvases and altered projects - and even knitting, crocheting, quilting and jewelry-making! Whatever you're working on, we want to see it! :)

Our challenges will go live at 6:00 AM EST on the 1st day of every month and run until 6:00 PM EST on the last day of the month. Winners and Top Picks will be chosen by our design team and announced on the 15th of the month following the close of each challenge. 

You may enter our challenges up to five times (as long as each project is different) and you may combine our challenges with as many other challenges as you'd like! The more the merrier! :)

Well today is the big day, our son in graduating with a First in his Masters Degree. The downside is I have to wear a dress cant tell you how nervous I am, he has to do the speech too, so proud of him.

Here is the card I made for the challenge over at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge 286 Anything Goes. One of our sponsors this week is Oddball Art, I used the image Astrid the Fairy. My son was after a thank you card for one of his lecturers. When he seen me colouring this image, he asked if I could make him something as she was an avid reader. I have to say he was a very demanding customer lol,

 I just love this image she is so cute, coloured her with pro markers and added glitter to her wings.

The dies are from Crafters Companion, Thank You on the inside and the front is the Snowflake Fancy Edge ables. I thought the fantasy look about it went with the fairy but added the flowers to tie it all together. Left it blank inside for the message to be wrote.

Happy Birthday 'Frisky Florence'

Morning, I just love Thursdays always my favourite day, no work. Also the start of a new challenge over at CRAFT, this week our challenge 371 is to follow a sketch.

  The image I have used is Frisky Florence from one of our sponsors D.R.S Designs. This image so much reminded me of my next door neighbour, in her eighties and always in the yard singing.

Coloured with Pro Markers, embossed using an embossing folder from Crafters Companion, then rubbed an ink pad over to highlight embossing. Made the Happy Birthday on the computer.

Oh am a bit late in posting today, been a funny old week. But at last here is my card the challenge over at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge 285 Anything Goes

Our sponsor is Bugaboo, the image I used is Tulip and Bugs. I think this is just a beautiful image, speaks for itself, coloured with Pro Markers. Sprinkled glitter on the dots, matted and layered then added a sentiment and some gems.
