Time for a cuppa x

Oh seen this digi image Dr Digi's House of Stamps, Weekend Walter, just fell in love with it reminded is of an old freind I used to work with and I send him a funny birthday card every year, this is his double, so hope I dont offend him.
Coloured with my spectrum noirs, getting used to these now and the backing papers is from a very old forever friends papaer pads.Used an enbossing folder for the stiches on the border, then added some ribbon and buttons, manly ones of course.

Just love this digi from Digi Stamp Boutique Snow Family will be making quite a few with this image. Had fum making it colured with Spectrum Noirs. Will be trying out a few different colour combo too. Would like to enter into these challenges.

A quickie, Thank You

Just really needed to make a quick card for a thank you for my neighbour. I have had this Crafters Companion paper pack for ages, breaking my heart to use it, just keep wanting to look at it, but it has to be used.  Really pleased with the effect and how using a few pieces has made such a cute card. Hope I can enter into these challenges, I know its not a digi image but hope that ok, looked at all the rules.

A NEW DIGI

After looking through the challenges, I noticed some lovely work and spotted this digi image, feel in love with it, its from Sherri Baldy

Its not the best quality picture, I have used my limited stash of promarkers, ivory for the skin tone, denim blue and antique pink for the solid colours. Also my wold rose sentiment stamp and my new set of spellbinders for the sentiment, what my lovely son gave me for xmas xxx sorry but my blog is so boring xx

New Begginings

Well a new year starts and I am hoping to make more cards and enter more challenges. My bedroom is full of crafting goodies, I need to use them.
Made this card, using some decupage I had hidden in my drawers and a very old rub on. The papers are from the pink selection from The Works for 99p and also used one of my spell binders. I have seen some great challenges about and some great inspiration.
